The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
The Service is not a licensed financial advisor, chartered accountant, or regulated financial institution. Content generated by the app does not constitute financial, tax, or legal advice.
3. Eligibility & Account Security

You are solely responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- All activities that occur under your account.

- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised access to your account.
My Ledgers shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your login information.
4. Your Data & Licence
You retain full ownership of the financial and personal data you input into the Service. By using the Service, you grant My Ledgers a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, store, process, and display your data solely to operate and improve the Service.
We do not claim any ownership over your data and will not use it for any purpose beyond providing the Service, as further described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, bankruptcy, or full or partial sale of our assets, your data — including personal and financial information — may be transferred to the acquiring entity as part of that transaction.
We will provide advance notice of any such transfer via in-app notification or email. The acquiring entity will be required to honour the commitments made in this Agreement and our Privacy Policy. By continuing to use the Service, you explicitly consent to such transfer and acknowledge that the acquirer may exercise the rights to your data as outlined herein.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable Indian law.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another user's account.
- Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or any disruptive content.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the Service.
- Use the Service to store or process data on behalf of third parties in a manner not intended by the Service.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, My Ledgers and its affiliates, directors, employees, or agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
We are not responsible for any financial discrepancies, tax liabilities, penalties, or business losses resulting from your reliance on the app's calculations or records. You are advised to verify all financial data with a qualified professional.
8. Modifications to the Service & Terms
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without prior notice. We may also revise these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notice or email. Your continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
